A poorly designed Kitchen or Bathroom, may well be impractical, but will also reduce the sale price or inhibit the sale completely. Whereas one that is well designed and professionally installed, will add both value and saleability.

Prior to commissioning quotes, you should try to have an idea as to what you wish to achieve. Ask yourself; "What is wrong with the current layout"?

You should then list the deficiencies and alongside them, the proposed changes. This will form the basis of your wish list. You should then prioritise your list with the essential items being listed first.

You will then be better equipped to discuss your requirements.
